The Project Manager II program is designed to align with the Project Management Institute (PMI) standards for project management certifications. This advanced program includes two key courses: the PMP Prep Boot Camp and Agile Fundamentals. Students gain in-depth knowledge of industry standards, project management methodologies, and advanced tools and techniques necessary for successfully leading projects in both predictive (traditional) and adaptive (Agile) environments. The Agile Fundamentals course focuses on SCRUM, the most widely adopted Agile Methodology in software development and project management. From lawnmowers to go-carts, to weed-eaters – if it has a small engine, learn to troubleshoot, repair, and even rebuild if necessary. The practical, hands-on learning experience from this course will provide benefits that last a lifetime. Whether you repair small engines for a living or just keep up with your own equipment, the class will easily pay for itself many times over. In about six weeks, you can have a working knowledge of types and operation of small engines, engine service, and repair of outdoor power equipment. Small engine repair professionals can earn over $20 an hour with experience.
A list of tools with a cost of approximately $100-150 will be given on the first day of the class.

This nine-month program teaches students to prepare instruments/packages for processing, decontamination, ultrasonic cleaner disinfection, sterilizations, and distribution in the hospital or surgery setting. Sterile Processing technicians are responsible for processing surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment. Serving in settings ranging from hospitals to ambulatory surgery centers, central service technicians provide support to patient services. Central Service Department tasks include decontaminating, cleaning, processing, assembling, sterilizing, storing, and distributing the medical devices and supplies needed for patient care. The Central Service Department of a health care facility is the heart of all activity surrounding instruments, supplies, and equipment required for operating rooms, endoscopy suites, intensive care units, birth centers, clinics, emergency departments and other patient care areas. Sterile Processing technicians play a most important role in patient care arenas and are responsible for first-line processes to prevent patient infections. |

You will also learn how to properly setup and use an Oxy-Fuel Torch. The Stick Welder Certificate is a stand-alone certificate but can be combined with the MIG/Flux Cored and TIG certificates to earn the Comprehensive Welder Certificate. This program focuses on the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) process. In two, 9-week classes you will learn how to fillet and groove weld flat plate in all positions as well as pipe weld in the 6G position. The TIG Welder Certificate is a stand-alone certificate but should be taken after the Stick or MIG/Flux Cored certificates. To ensure the best training outcomes, experienced welders seeking to upskill with TIG training alone should meet with a welding instructor prior to enrolling in the program to determine skill level. Students are required to purchase approximately $400-500 worth of welding gear and small hand tools. Courses taken in this program may be applied toward academic program courses.
