Phlebotomy - Certificate
The phlebotomy certificate prepares students for entry-level phlebotomy technician positions in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings. The program covers phlebotomy theory and special procedures required for specimen collection. It covers basic venipuncture, with emphasis a safety, minimizing client discomfort and accurate collection of a blood specimen. The certificate also requires knowledge of anatomy and physiology, CRP and clinical hours during which the student perfects phlebotomy skills.
