Computer Technician - CE
Computer technicians play a crucial role in providing technical support to users, helping them solve computer-related issues in person, over the phone, or online. They assist with the setup and use of computer hardware and software, including tasks like installation, printing, word processing, email setup, and operating systems. Our Computer Technician training program is designed to equip you with the skills to effectively address user inquiries, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and provide valuable technical assistance. You’ll learn to interpret technical manuals, communicate with users, and perform computer diagnostics to identify and resolve issues. You'll also gain hands-on experience setting up equipment, installing cables, operating systems, and essential software. This program prepares you for key industry certifications, including CompTIA Tech+, A+, Network+, and Security+. * On average, computer technicians in the Midlands of SC earn over $25 per hour, and you can start your career in this field in as little as 3-4 months. By completing this program, you'll be on the fast track to becoming a successful help desk technician, computer support specialist, IT specialist, or network technician. To earn this certificate, you must successfully complete the following courses within a two-year period. *Additional testing required for certifications.
