The A+ Certification comprises two courses: A+ Essentials (Hardware portion) & A+ Practical Application (software portion). These two courses mirror the CompTIA exams. Students must take and pass both exams to become "A+ Certified" by CompTIA. These two courses help students acquire the essential skills and information needed to install, upgrade, repair, configure, troubleshoot, optimize, and perform preventative maintenance of basic personal computer hardware and operating systems.
