Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician - CE
Completing the Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician Training Certificate provides students with the entry-level skills needed to earn $20 an hour as a mechanical maintenance technician. Manufacturing companies and mechanical contractors are looking to fill important, high-demand positions in industrial maintenance. The program takes just 11 months. After completing this training program, students will have the capability to understand the operation of systems within the machinery and equipment in an industrial environment and to keep the equipment and process running smoothly. This maintenance training program teaches students how to use new skills in print reading and non-destructive testing to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment problems. Special Note: Successful completion of some classes in this training program, along with meeting college entrance and program requirements, may provide you with exemption credit and/or advanced placement into the Mechatronics Associate Degree or Mechatronics Academic certificate program at Midlands Technical College.
