Pharmacy technicians work closely with pharmacists in hospitals, retail stores, and other medical settings to help prepare and distribute medications to patients. As pharmacies expand patient care services, the need for pharmacy technicians is growing. Training to be a Pharmacy Technician is an integral part of health care as you prepare to assist the Pharmacist in the fast-growing needs of healthcare. In this course, students will be expected to learn Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, Pharmacy Math, Sterile Compounding Calculations and Aseptic Compounding technique along with Professionalism in Healthcare and Medication Reconciliation. This course is ASHP accredited.
