MedCerts is a national online training provider strengthening the workforce through innovative eLearning solutions. Focused on certifications in high-demand areas of allied healthcare and IT, it serves individuals from all backgrounds, including the military and their families, career changers and the under- and unemployed. MedCerts delivers fully supported career training through HD-quality video-based instruction, virtual simulations, games and animations, and on-the-job training through Experiential Learning solutions. HI-5100 Professional Coder
This program provides training to help students achieve the Certified Professional Coder-CPC-A credential or the Certified Coding Specialist-Physician-based (CCS-P), both are the standard for medical coding in physician office settings. Completion of this program enables you to have the tools to successfully pass the CPC examination or the CCS-P examination. Students are taught the principles of medical coding related to the three main code books: CPT, ICD-10-CM Volumes 1 & 2, and HCPCS Level II.
