LowCounty Medical Training Center
LowCounty Medical Training Center is an 8,500-square-foot state-of-the-art facility designed to meet diverse training needs, including teaching, assessment, and hands-on clinical skills practice. This expansive space likely features advanced equipment and simulation labs, allowing students to gain practical experience in a realistic and immersive environment.
Phelobotomy
The Phlebotomy course provides phlebotomy instruction to the student with a working knowledge of collecting blood and other specimens with emphasis on patient safety, quality assurance and universal and standard precautions. This course utilizes a lecture, clinical laboratory, and demonstrated methodology and prepares students for the National Health Career Association (NHA) certification exam. After the successful completion of this 12-week course, (84 Classroom/Lab Hours, 30 Venipunctures, 10 Capillary Sticks), students will receive a certificate of completion from LowCounty Medical Training Center, needed to take the national certification exam given by the NHA.
