LowCounty Medical Training Center is an 8,500-square-foot state-of-the-art facility designed to meet diverse training needs, including teaching, assessment, and hands-on clinical skills practice. This expansive space likely features advanced equipment and simulation labs, allowing students to gain practical experience in a realistic and immersive environment.
Pharmacy Technician
The Pharmacy Tech course provides the student with the skills that are important while assisting the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications. Students will be trained on how to interpret prescription hard copies, pharmacy calculations, processing a prescription, pharmacy laws, compounding and packaging of medications. We will also provide you with the information on how to become a registered technician. Upon successfully completing 105 hours you will receive a certificate of completion from LowCounty Medical Training Center. We will provide you with the application to take the national certification (PTCB and /or NHA) exam.
