Provides phlebotomy instruction to the student with a working knowledge of collecting blood and other specimens with emphasis on patient safety, quality assurance, and universal standard precautions. The course utilizes lecture, clinical laboratory and demonstrated methodology. Upon successful completion of class, skills labs, and clinical the student will receive a certificate of completion.
