NURSING ASSISTANT
This course covers the physical comfort and safety functions specific to a nursing assistant. The course includes modules on patient care procedures for geriatric and adult patients, patient rights, infection control, nutrition, physical and social support, legal and ethical considerations, documentation, and privacy. The course is taught to prepare students for the state board exam required to obtain certification from the State of South Carolina.
