The Associate in Science degree is designed for the student planning to transfer to a senior college or university or for the student who wishes to broaden his or her general knowledge. The degree stresses mathematics, natural and physical sciences. Graduates of the program are prepared to transfer to a senior college or university and major in such areas as biology, chemistry, engineering, or pre-medicine. Students who are undecided about their ultimate educational or career goals will find transfer courses that apply toward future major or career choices.
