Associate Degree in Nursing Program, LPN/LVN to ADN Bridge Option
The ADN Program, LPN/LVN to ADN Bridge Option educates licensed practical/vocational nurses (LPNs/LVNs) for the role of a registered nurse (RN). Graduates earn an Associate Degree in Nursing and are prepared to take the NCLEX-RN®, which they must pass before they can be employed as a licensed registered nurse. The quarter-calendar program offers hands-on learning, early in the program, with general education alongside the nursing curriculum.

Galen College of Nursing's programs are developed and reviewed by the nursing faculty, who have relevant practice experience. In addition, Galen has a Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) whose purpose is to provide advice and guidance to the campus regarding the needs of the community. The PAC is comprised of at least five to seven key community leaders in business, healthcare, and education, to ensure that the program provides the depth and breadth of educational preparation appropriate for the profession and necessary to enhance the community’s healthcare environment. Galen additionally has affiliation agreements with healthcare providers throughout the community where students complete the clinical component of their coursework.
