This foundational course is designed to provide the very basics in the area of construction including basic job site safety information to prepare workers for the construction environment. Key content includes basic safety, the introduction to construction math, the introduction to hand and power tools, construction drawings, basic rigging, basic communication skills, and basic employment skills and materials handling. This program is 80 instructional hours: 20 Weeks , 4 hours per week.
