Program description:

The objective of the Medical Assistant Program is to provide students with the knowledge and training of various body functions, systems, and structures. Students will acquire the knowledge of basic lab procedures including EKG, injections, infection control and specimen collection and sterilization. At the end of this course, students will be eligible to sit for the Medical Assistance examination-to become a Certified Medical Assistant.
