There are many business challenges, government regulations, market demands, information technology needs, and strategic opportunities that compel organizations to initiate projects that drive change in organizations. Business analysis is the practice that aims at moving an organization from its current state to a defined future state to achieve its strategic objectives. The Business Analyst program is based upon the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) standards and best practices. IIBA is the global organization and leader for the voice of the business analysis community with global standards and international certifications for the profession. The Business Analyst program provides the business analysis professional development units for IIBA Business Analysis Certification exams. In this program, you will learn about the role and required skills of the business analyst as it relates to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), how to develop use cases into detailed business requirements, and how to implement different testing techniques that accompany the SDLC to verify a successful client project installation. Learn how to participate on any project team and understand the Agile roles and responsibilities. Agile Fundamentals is the most widely used Agile Methodology, Scrum, for managing software development projects. Many organizations are changing the way software development projects are implemented. Completing the Agile Fundamentals course will increase your opportunities for IT careers in the software development and IT arena. To earn this certificate, students must successfully complete the following courses within a two-year period. *Additional Testing required for certifications.
