Desktop and Server Administrator - CE
Desktop and server administrators maintain network hardware and software, monitor networks to ensure availability to all users, and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. They plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in data centers and with cloud-based services. The Desktop and Server Administrator program will teach you how to support cloud computing within an organization and how to automate secure cloud environments that support the high availability of business systems and data. Learn server hardware, installation, and management for Windows and Linux environments. Learn to identify security threats and vulnerabilities and how to respond to and recover from security incidents. You will also train for the ITIL 4 Foundation Certification. ITIL is the most widely accepted approach to running effective IT/digital services and has been adopted by individuals and organizations across the world. ITIL helps define the direction of the service provider with a clear operating model and aligns services to the business strategy and customer needs. ITIL also provides a common language for businesses and professionals using IT-enabled services. To earn this certificate, students must successfully complete the following courses within a two-year period. *Additional testing required for certifications.
