Program description:

Certified Medical Administration Assistant is a vital part of the healthcare team. These professionals often work at the front desk of health care facilities such as hospitals, doctor’s office and medical practices. CMAAs greet patients, update patient records (EHR), schedule appointments, order supplies, answer calls, review and answer practice correspondence, operate computer systems, and more. This program, aligned with National Healthcare Association (NHA) standards, ensures that the student will be fully prepared to excel as a medical administrative assistant. From mastering patient scheduling to proficiently handling medical billing and coding, our curriculum covers all essential aspects of medical office administration. Upon the completion of the program students will be eligible to take the Medical Administrative Assistant Exam to become CMAA.
