PSI Project Management, Inc.
PSI Project Management provides project management training certification courses for the Project Management Professional and the Certified associate in project management exams offered by the Project Management Institute.
Project Management Professional Training Program
This program is for experienced project managers who what to become certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professionals (PMP)®. To qualify for the PMP® exam, with a bachelor’s degree, the candidate must have 36 months of project management experience within the last eight years plus completion of this course. With a high school diploma, or equivalent, the candidate must have 60 months of project management experience within the last eight years plus completion of this course. This course provides the material and knowledge that is necessary for the PMP® candidate to pass the exam. This is a very difficult course and will require the student to commit to the training and to study for the exam. The course also includes practical application of the theory of project management. A case study is completed and example plans and forms commonly used in managing projects are filled out by the student during the case study. The student will plan, execute, monitor, and close a project. An optional study group is also available for the students. The study group is a five-week program, and it is open to all registered students. Weekly assignments are given to the students to complete on their own time and class interaction is facilitated by an instructor. By completing this course, the students will meet the prerequisite requirements to take PMI’s PMP® certification exam and they will have completed a case study where they filled out the plans and forms that are typically used to manage projects. This course is a combination of PSIPM's "Advanced Project Management Training Program and Practical Project Management Course". The course is conducted using Zoom and is live virtual.
