The Business Technology – Human Resource Management Program is designed to provide the academic and occupational skill training necessary to prepare students who want advanced education and training for a successful career in Human Resources. This certification preparation program covers for knowledge domains: People, Organization, Workplace and Strategy, and eight behavioral competencies: Leadership & Navigation, Ethical Practice, Business Acumen, Relationship Management, Consultation, Critical Evaluation, Global and Cultural Effectiveness, and Communication. Additionally, students will receive classes on the entire Microsoft Office Suite. These increased computer proficiency skills make students relevant and vital resources for employers across the spectrum of the professional workforce. Since SHRM is taking all their methodologies into the Agile frame work students will become certified in PMI-ACP along with key computer skills in Excel, Office 365 and Project Specialist.
