This eight-to-ten-week program is the path to a nationally-recognized certification from the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC). The program gives students the core technical competencies of entry-level production workers in all sectors of manufacturing. Once you successfully complete all four module assessments - Safety, Quality Practices and Measurement, Manufacturing Processes and Production, and Maintenance Awareness you will become a MSSC - Certified Production Technician. Nationally, job growth for Manufacturing Production Technicians is projected at +5% annually with hourly pay of up to $23 per hour (according to EMSI Data as of 2025).
